In order to implement the spirit of “to actualize
diverse marketing strategies, to exert our comparative advantages,
to consolidate traditional market, to develop new market, to increase
exports” of the 16th Party Congress and promote China and India’s
trade and economic relationships, expand the export of our city to
the south-east Asian market, according to relevant notices of the
provincial Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Department and
with approval of the municipal leaders, our bureau will organize a
delegation to “the 23rd India International Trade Fair, 2003” (hereinafter
called “India Fair”). Relevant matters are informed as follows:
1. Date: Nov. 14 to 27, 2003
2. Place: Capital of India, New Delhi
3. Scale: India Fair is one of the largest trade fairs in Asia, similar
to China Export Commodities Fair. It sets exhibition areas for mechanical
equipments, electric appliances, light industrial products, textiles
& garments, mineral chemistry, communication electronics, sport
equipments, local specials & handcrafts, etc. The whole fair covers
an area of 100,000 m2. Participating companies are from more than
30 countries and each fair receives guests about 100,000 man-times.
The provincial Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Department
has organized foreign trade companies and manufacturers to participate
the fair in the last few years and made efficient outcome.
4. Standard booth: 9 m2 (including a standard frame, a desk, 2 chairs,
3 lights). The national delegation intends to arrange a China exhibition
hall.
5. Participating companies & persons
a. high-tech enterprises, foreign trade enterprises, manufacturing
enterprises with import & export business
b. General Managers (Directors), cadres and participating business
professionals, etc. of the above companies
c. staff of Zhuhai Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Bureau
and ZHCCIE.
6. Charge
a. RMB18000 for each standard booth, RMB 2000 for registration; RMB3200
for freight of 1m3 of goods and customs clearance, public display,
uniformly born by the municipal government;
b. Charges of the business trip for visitors shall be born by themselves.
7. Organizing method: undertaken by ZHCCIE entrusted by Zhuhai Foreign
Trade & Economic Cooperation Bureau. Relevant companies shall
participate actively according to practice and the principle of participating
and designating voluntarily. You should confirm the number of booths
you need and list of participants (filling in the attached forms)
urgently, submit (by fax) to ZHCCIE before Aug. 10 and gather and
report to the provincial Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation
Department for approval. Any delay may cause your inconvenience. Other
matters and filling personal files, paying charges, visiting routes
and time will be informed later.
