In order to implement the instruction of Vice Premier,
Wu Yi, when she visited 8 countries of Caribbean area (Surinam, Guyana,
Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, the
Bahamas, Jamaica) in January of 2003, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry
of Foreign Affairs will hold " Caribbean Area Investment Seminar
and Projects Consulting Meeting" on the 7th China investment
and trade negotiation conference in Xiamen on September 9 this year.
Government officials, representatives of the industrial and commercial
circle from the 8 Caribbean countries will introduce their investment
invitation policies, investment environment, investment projects,
enterprises and social focuses and negotiate will our domestic corporations
then. Please inform relevant corporations to attend the meeting. The
transportation, room and board will be charged by the attendees themselves.
Participating units shall fax the Signing Up Form to our department
(foreign trade and economic cooperation department).
