Zhuhai Municipal Customs Clearance Service executes its duty under the instructions of Zhuhai Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau in compliance with related laws, regulations and stipulations of foreign trade policies. Its duty includes:

1. coordinating services of customs clearance
2. managing the industry of customs application; constituting developing program and measures for operation reform of the industry, promoting economic development
3. handling daily business of building the municipal electronic entry and exit port
4. managing the electronic customs application service center of the special economic region (the municipal EDI service center of entry and exit ports)
5. developing electronic customs clearance for entry and exit ports over the city, providing EDI service for customs clearance to enterprises
6. assisting enterprises to develop logistic service of customs clearance
7. undertaking other business assigned by Zhuhai Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau.
